I am 14 bout to be 15 in a month and live in North Carolina so yeah I just wanna know how old you have to be to buy a zippo?|||Not sure how it is down there, but I live in Jersey and I think to buy a lighter you must be 19. I know for a fact you have to be 19 to buy lighter fuel, that I am positive. Get you mom to buy it for you.|||I'm 16 and bought one yesterday... so im not sure, i know these laws about inhalents are really strict nowadays, so the fuel might be iffy.
if it really comes down to it you can use gasoline, though its not recommended
