How Could I find out if my zippo lighter is original or not?

I bought a zippo lighter for just 3$ and it looks pretty original, but I don't think so. For example you can even see the ritten on the bottom of the lighter that says: ZIPPO BRADFORD.PA.MADE IN U.S.A. So is it realy original?|||it's not original. zippo lighters were originated and made in Hensville, TN. any other places are fakes, they're afraid of getting sued if they make it too much like the original.|||Zippo lighters actually originated and are still made in Bradford, PA 16701. George G. Blaisdell was the man who came up with the idea.

|||Zippo's have always and still are all made in Bradford, PA. I have no clue what twanx is talking about, or where he got his info. It is flat out wrong. There are many things you can look for when trying to determine a genuine zippo. Zippo's website has an excellent article on forgeries.
