How often do you have to refill a zippo?

I don't smoke so I don't know. I just bought someone a zippo as a gift...%26amp; now I'm wondering how often he will have to refill it %26amp; if he will get annoyed with that...lol! And what do you use to refill them %26amp; how much are the refills?|||There are two types of Zippo lighters these days: the old fluid lighter, and the newer butane gas-lighters.





I've been using classic Zippo's from my time in the Navy for the last 20 odd years, and I refill mine, on average, once a week. It is VERY simple to do.





Locally, in California, Zippo lighter fluid is $2.50 for a 4oz bottle which tends to last me about 9-12 months.
